WEATHERED WOOD DETAIL, STUDY 1

Like the bristlecone pine, the Sierra juniper has fine grain and extraordinary wood patterns.  This abstract Sierra juniper wood detail, which is about 3"X3.5" in actual size, is reminiscent of a river flow, complete with currents and swirling eddies.  What do you see?
